Data shows that by 2025, there will be 16994 A-level scenic spots in China, receiving 7.51 billion tourists and generating tourism revenue of 554.49 billion yuan. State owned museums received 1.43 billion visitors. There are 1879 art performance groups under the cultural and tourism department, performing 392000 shows; There are 1024 art performance venues and 113000 performances. There are 740 public art museums and 11000 exhibitions held.

In the field of intangible cultural heritage, there are 1557 national level intangible cultural heritage projects, and protection institutions hold various activities with an increase in the number of sessions. The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is promoting platform construction, deepening law enforcement reforms, and operating 223000 cultural market units.

At the same time, the development of new cultural and tourism formats is good, and multiple actions have been taken to launch measures that benefit the people and drive consumption. The number of domestic residents traveling and spending has increased, and the number of inbound and outbound tourists has also significantly increased. By the end of 2025, there will be 70354 travel agencies and 7586 star rated hotels nationwide.
